They Will Not Quit

One team of San Francisco independent filmmakers seems irresistibly drawn to competition and apparently will not let anything stop them.

It Donned On Me has been competing in the 48 Hour Film Project for years in both San Francisco and in San Jose. In all, they’ve created 21 short films including some 15 submitted to the 48 Hour FiLm Project and related competitions.

This film was created in 2010 for the International Doc Challenge and it addressed a topic that for many of us, is still on our minds. Whatever your particular viewpoint on the issue, you must admit that the stories of these real people are compelling, and adeptly told.

You can see how they did in the 2011 San Francisco 48 Hour Film Project by being at the Awards and Highlights Night. Their entry, Repo Session is a candidate among a field of nearly 55 filmmaking teams who took on the challenge of creating a story on film in just one weekend.

Tickets are $10 at the door.
