When you only have 48 Hours to make your film, there isn’t a lot of time for anything, even blinking.
Veteran 48HFP filmmaker and multiple award winner Paul Aspuria, and his team Film Antics created this short film in just two days and we think it looks fabulous.
This year, for the 10th time, the 48 Hour Film Project comes to San Francisco. Competitors will set out on June 8th to create their next short film (4-7 minutes) and turn it in by Sunday night, June 10th. The films will be screened between June 13th and the 21st at the Lumiere Theater in San Francisco.
Okay, the third time worked out pretty well and so did the others since then.
But we are certain that the 10th time for the 48 Hour Film Project in San Francisco will be a fabulous celebration of what independent filmmaking in the SF Bay Area has to offer. Here are some of the details about the competition, as well as a glimpse as some of the highlights from past years.
Pipsqueak tells it all, but to reiterate in print:
- Competition weekend: June 8th-10th
- Screenings: June 13th – 21st (Lumiere Theater in San Francisco)
- Highlights and Awards: July 15th
Mark those dates on your calendar and plan to join us there to be amazed.
